Week 1. Everyone will have been allocated a project by the end of week 1.
Week 3. A clear idea of the project and its requirements is ready.
Week 4 (assessment). Specification documentation submitted on Thursday 20 October, 2011 (noon). [10% of project mark]
Week 7. The design stage is completed. Preparations start for submitting the resulting documentation the following week.
Week 8 (assessment). Design documentation and presentation. The documentation is submitted on Friday 18 November, 2011 (noon). Design presentation given within the following 2 weeks (the week beginning on 21 or 28 November, 2011). [15% of project mark]
Week 12. The first stages of implementation are under way.
Week 3. The implementation is well under way. An interim progress report is given to the Supervisor by Friday 17 February, 2012.
Week 9. The realisation of the project is completed. Preparations must be made for demonstrating the project the following week.
Week 10 (assessment). Project demonstration given to dissertation markers in the week 23 - 27 April, 2012. [15% of project mark]
Week 12 (assessment). Project report submitted on Thursday 10 May 2012 (noon). [60% of project mark]
