It is important that you keep your supervisor up-to-date concerning the progress you make during the second semester.
If all is going well, no action is needed, but if problems have arisen, this gives an opportunity for you and your supervisor to think about redefining the scope of the project to ensure that something sensible will be produced in the time available.
One copy of a progress report should be given to your supervisor by Friday 17 February, 2012.
The report should be of a brief (1 page) description of your progress up to this point in the second semester. It should follow in style the review against plan which was part of the design documentation.
The progress report does not contribute to the summative assessment of the project. It provides a basis for discussion between you and your supervisor.
