The Racewood Project

1. SUMMARY

The Racewood Express project is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between:

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool, and
Racewood Limited.

The project is funded under the DTI Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme. The overall objective is to develop 3D software to enhance the current functionality of a commercial equine simulator and to introduce and embed core software skills into Racewood Ltd.



2. PROJECT TEAM

The project team currently comprises (June 2007):

  1. William Greenwood (company supervisor and chair of Local Management Committee) - Racewoods Limited.
  2. Frans Coenen (lead academic and academic supervisor) - Department of Computer Science, the University of Liverpool.
  3. Mary McGuffog (company facilitator) - Racewood Limited.
  4. Biris Konev (academic support) - Department of Computer Science, the University of Liverpool.

DTI advisor is Bob Astly.
