This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of research in: Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, Machine Translation, Multimodal Learning, Real-world AI and Robotics systems

You’ll work closely with the Principal Investigator and a multidisciplinary team to:

Develop and fine-tune large-scale vision language models
Design lightweight and multimodal translation frameworks
Build multimodal AI solutions for real-world deployment

We’re looking for someone who is:

Passionate about solving challenging research problems
Strong in AI, multimodal learning, and machine translation
Comfortable working independently and in a team
Excited to contribute to a multidisciplinary research environment

Successful candidates will be co-supervised by faculty members, Dr. Anh Nguyen, Prof. Danushka Bollegala and Dr. Baoru Huang, with the collaboration acrross a multidisciplinary team in Europe.
