Richard's Lottery Numbers
Richard Lloyd has been very interested in the
UK National Lottery, and has been giving detailed
information and advice in his own inimitable style.
In particular, he suggests that you keep your numbers
secret (to avoid having to share the prizes), and also
has been giving a running account of how close (or
otherwise) his numbers have been.
I decided to see if I could deduce his choice of numbers
from the information given, and the results of Lottery 12
(4th February, 1995) enabled me to complete this task.
Assuming my analysis has been
correct (and that Richard hasn't tried to mislead me),
his numbers are:
