I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, at the University of Liverpool, UK, where I am a member of the ARK (Argumentation and Representation of Knowledge) research group and the TASC group.

I am Director of Online Learning in the Department, and Director of Studies of the on-line MSc programmes in Computing, fully delivered over the Internet.

I am am of the founding editors of Argument and Computation and of the CMNA workshops.

I am the Departmental Global Opportunity Academic Advisor and Academic Lead.
