Johan Bernoulli (1667-1748)

Supporter of Leibniz during his great controvesy with Isaac Newton regarding the intellectual property rights in the invention of the Calculus. Together with his brother Jakob was instrumental in making Leibniz's calculus known throughout Europe. (1)
