Submitting a proposed research topic

To submit your proposed research topic you need:

• A provisional title for your essay.
• A description of the intended research, which should clearly identify a well-defined research question. This description has a limit of 500 characters.
• Five keywords that highlight some of the most important themes, concepts, and issues related to your chosen topic.

An example can be found here. In case there is a problem with your submission, save all the details you plan to submit in a local file and then copy them to the form. Do not write them directly into the form without saving them elsewhere.

You should submit your proposal using Essay Topic assessment for COMP516 in the VITAL system.

The deadline for agreeing a topic is 18:00 Friday 19 October 2012, so you should submit your proposal as soon as you think it is ready.
