Abstract: We will discuss two algorithms for structural network analysis, the PageRank algorithm used by Google, and Betweenness Centrality, used to identify "central" nodes in a graph. PageRank, and search engine indexing in general, has been described as one of the "nine algorithms that changed the future" by author John MacCormick.
